absences

Collection of faces of anonymous passengers who in their daily work move  from one place to another in the city. A constant traffic of people, mostly unknown to each other, who for a time of the journey, share the limited space of the vehicle that transports them.

I intentionally observe and choose, detaching the shot from any space/time reference, the random disposition of the bodies and the faces that behind the veil of glass moistened by the rain and wrapped  at night,  they show for an instant, all their expressive eloquence concentrated in the dim light warped in their eyes.

Self-absorbed, lost and absent looks, that look without seeing, that wander to the beat of a stopped time between the memory of the past that determines us, the present events that shape us and the dreamed future that drags us along.
